We had so much fun on our mini ski weekend in Mammoth!
The mountain was only about 4 short hours outside of LA.... It was so weird driving through city, hills, desert, and into the snowy mountains! What a road trip!
The skiing was AMAZING! Such a huge mountain with plenty of options for any skill level. The snow was absolutely perfect and we had the best day on the mountain with blue skies stretching for miles!
My favorite part of the trip, however, was definitely the natural hot springs just outside out the resort. There are a TON of geothermal pools around this area of California but we choose the pools called Crowley hot springs.
A short walk down a wooden boardwalk brought us to the beautiful milky waters. We felt a little crazy disrobing in the snow but it was totally worth it sliding down the mud bank into the perfect spring. We stayed for sunset and were not disappointed. I have been in many different hot springs but none natural and in the middle of nowhere like this.
I felt like a mountain mermaid, it was so magical!
